The GMT Master 16760 "Fat Lady" is one of the coolest and rarest five-digit Rolexes. Being the first ever GMT Master II, it defined the features that were still present over 40 years later on a modern GMT, including the sapphire crystal, improved water resistance, and independently adjustable hour hand.
Produced for only four or five years, many surviving examples suffer from dial degradation (which can sometimes make the dial look wonderfully "tropical"). The present watch, however, retains its glossy finish, with tritium lume on the markers aged to a rich creamy hue, complemented by slightly lighter-toned hands.
