This example dates towards the end of 16550 production in 1987 and has survived in fantastic condition over the years. While the dial has remained pearl white, the tritium lume on the markers and hands has aged to a beautiful creamy hue. The original wide-font bezel remains sharp, and the previously polished case is still wonderfully strong, particularly around the crown guards. 

An amazing example of a transitional Rolex classic.
