When it was launched in the late 1980s, the 16200 range came with several updates. A new calibre movement and sapphire glass. The watch came with a smooth, engine or a fluted bezel, this one being the former.
The watch itself is a 16200, this has the smooth bezel and the the 78360/555b oyster bracelet which is still tight and has its full links. The clap code is AD6 meaning it was made in June 2003. Now this combination of the black baton dial, oyster bracelet and smooth bezel is known as the "Layer Cake". Why? Well, Daniel Craig wears this exact combination in the film where he portrays a sophisticated criminal with the lovely Sienna Miller in toe.
The watch comes as a complete set. Box, papers, booklet, wallet and calendar. The watch was serviced by us in 2024 and is running at -1 s/d, 285 amps with a beat error of 0.3.
