The IWC Cal.89 here dates back to 1954, featuring a 36 mm case in full 18k yellow gold and beautiful “dog-leg” lugs that still hint at Art Deco design. The dial has remained pristine, and the applied markers beautifully complement the gold hands. The watch is stunning on the wrist: the “jumbo” size was well ahead of its time.
