Eberhard & Co. was founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1887 by Georges-Lucien Eberhard, quickly establishing a reputation for precision timekeeping and technical innovation. Beginning with pocket watches, the brand moved into chronographs, launching its first chronograph wristwatch in 1919. Following World War II, like many manufacturers, Eberhard introduced its own dive watches. In 1959, the Scafograf 100 and 200 were released, with water resistance suggested by their names. It wasn’t until 1964 that the next evolution arrived: the Scafograf 300. Featuring a 42 mm case with lyre lugs—reminiscent of later Omega Speedmasters—and an impressive 300 metres of water resistance.

The example offered here is, without question, the finest Scafograf 300 we’ve come across in terms of condition. Reference 126013 is about as close to new old stock as one could hope to find.
