It’s hardly a secret that we love British military-issued watches here at Falco, particularly CWCs and Precista's from the 1980s onward. We believe they remain massively under appreciated and underrepresented in the wider world of military horology. Hopefully, over time, we can play a small role in bringing these issued gems into more collections worldwide.

For those less familiar with the brand, CWC (Cabot Watch Company) was founded by Ray Mellor in 1972 with the sole purpose of supplying watches to the British military and government organisations.

From 1980 through the early 2000s, CWC produced the Navy Diver, the watch that directly replaced the Rolex Milsub. Around 3,000 examples were made over its twenty-year production run. The present watch dates to 1997, during which roughly 300–500 pieces were produced.

This example retains its original tritium dial and hands, which have survived in tremendous condition. The case and bezel show light wear. We’ve fitted a new battery and had the watch pressure-tested, ensuring it’s ready for the next owner to enjoy as intended. To complete the look, we’ve paired it with a CWC grey ribbed NATO strap for that authentic military aesthetic.
